PRO-GE - die Produktionsgewerkschaft
In November 2009, the gmtn – Austrian Metal-Textile-Food Workers Unions and the Chemical Union (GdC) founded the new trade union PRO-GE.
With more than 250.000 members, the trade union PRO-GE is now the third largest union within the Austrian Trade Union Federation, who gathers twelve different unions.
PRO-GE is organising trade union members from the former gmtn in metal, mining, energy, textile, clothing, leather, agriculture, food, gastronomy, temporary work and the chemical industry.
