John Deere in Zweibrücken
After Christian Wery founded the site in 1863, it was transitionally owned by the Heinrich Lanz AG and eventually incorporated into John Deere, a subsidiary of the Deere & Company Corporation.
Since 1963, the site in Zweibrücken has set its main focus on the production of agricultural combines for the European and international market.
In 1992, the John Deere site in Zweibrücken started manufacturing self-propelled forage harvesters for worldwide distribution.
