Krone in Spelle

Krone has grown from a blacksmith shop, founded in 1906, into a family-owned company, which celebrated its 100th birthday in 2006 with various activities.

Today, the company is divided into three societies incorporated under one holding: The machinery factory Bernard Krone is based in Spelle and produces agricultural machinery ranging from disc mowers, loaders and forage wagons, round balers, rotary rakes and rotary teddars to large square balers.

The site in Spelle has a workforce of approximately 840 employees. The commercial vehicle site Bernard Krone is based in Werlte with a workforce of approximately 700 employees and focuses on the production of semi trailers, swap systems, trailers, and rigid bodywork.

In addition to this, Krone manufactures around 2,500 refrigerated semi trailers per year in Denmark (home of Bernard Krone A/S). Since April 2000, Krone A/S has employed almost 200 people. Agritechnology, Distribution and Service Bernard Krone (Landtechnik, Vertrieb und Dienstleistungen LVD) offers sales, distribution and servicing of agricultural machinery.

As the main distribution partner of John Deere in Germany, LVD Bernard Krone provides a broad variety of products.
