    The LEMKEN Site in Hetzerath

    History of Jacoby and LEMKEN

The field-sprayer manufactory Jacoby was founded in 1904 and established the production site in Hetzerath in 1914. The company gradually expanded its product range and started manufacturing motor-driven injector-pumps in 1934. A new headquarters was built and the factory’s production area was enlarged in 1938. After World War II Jacoby manufactured trailed field sprayer with a working width up to 30 m and tanks holding 300 to 5000 l.

Jacoby received several awards of the German Agricultural society (DLG) and Agritechnika (International Agricultural Machinery Fair).

In addition, the company filed patents for its distinguished technical solution securing plants protection and environment protection.

After more than a century and three generations, the family-owned and operated company Jacoby was acquired by LEMKEN in 2005.

The company has a workforce of 32 employees.
